Green roof developer. From 2003 manager and developer of green roof systems for the Mediterranean climate, inside the Italian company Harpo, nowadays Harpo verdepensile is the professional market leader in Italy.
Maurizio Crasso is a component of the board of AIVEP, Italian green roof association, and Italian delegate in EFB, Green roof European federation.
Coauthor of several research and publications on green roofs. He was coordinator of the research group composed by Harpo, University of Trieste and Genova, called “Definition of behavior models of green roofs for buildings and environment”, cofinanced by Harpo and European Community.
He participated deeply on writing the Italian norm UNI 11235 on green roofs.
