Warsaw University of Life Sciences – Department of Landscape Architecture
I am a landscape architect, assistant professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. In my research I deal with the assessment of the structure of various forms of afforestation in urbanized and open areas, in a spatial, cultural and natural context.
My research concerns in particular the construction of tree stands (spatial structure, age structure of trees, species structure) in adaptation to specific functions, including collision at the interface of technical infrastructure and tree vegetation. I am also interested in issues related to the construction, functioning and care of green roofs. In this respect, I am particularly interested in the aspect of water retention and vegetation maintenance.
I belong to the Polish Dendrological Society (PTD), the Polish Green Roofs Association (PSDZ) and the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) – Landscape Architecture Section.
